Included AI Review: Features, Integrations, and Pricing 2024

Included AI is a recommendation and insights platform for HR leaders, helping them maximize their workforce analytics. In the past, workforce analytics was the least cared about in organizations. It did not come close to topics like sales and marketing or employee performance analysis.

However, intelligent company leaders are starting to realize that workforce analytics is a broader, more encompassing subject. The effectiveness of your hiring process determines the company’s employee performance and affects its overall sales and marketing goals.

An accurate workforce analysis can help HR leaders look deeper into their weaknesses, patterns, and diversity gaps. This is what AI solutions like Included AI seeks to accomplish. It integrates with your Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and analyzes employee data. It then generates reports and recommendations based on their skills, engagement, and attrition rate. This article comprehensively reviews Included AI, its features, pricing, integration, and more.

Included AI Overview

Included AI is a cutting-edge diversity, equity, and inclusion AI tool that integrates with human resource systems to give HR heads more insight into their workforce composition. Its solutions enable chief people officers to evaluate their people strategy and embed more inclusivity tactics in their hiring, branding, and outreach processes.

However, apart from this, Included AI has several other use cases. HR leaders can use it to generate automated data analysis reports. In other words, your HRIS gathers information on your staff and Included AI uses the power of AI and machine learning technologies to turns the data into practical recommendations. Its reports contain insights and recommendations, helping leaders make critical decisions faster. This is handy during hiring but even more when detecting employee attrition rates.

Employee attrition rate measures how many employees leave a company compared to the average number of hires. The time metric could be yearly, monthly, or quarterly, depending on an organization’s structure. Employee attrition is usually caused by inevitable factors such as relocation, increased work hours, bad leadership, etc. Included AI covers this and all areas of workforce analytics, including recruitment and talent management, employee engagement, employee performance, and retention.

Raghu Gollamudi, Laura Close, and Chandan Golla founded Included AI in 2020. Since then, they have collaborated with other HR, DEI, and tech leaders to improve the efficiency and versatility of the software. They built the DEI platform to take away the hours CPOs spend on data interpretation and translation.

From its inception till now, the company has undergone a few funding rounds. In May 2022, it raised $3.5 million in a Seed round. However, its last funding round was in March 2023, a non-equity assistance from SXSW Pitch. Major funders of Included AI are Trilogy, Alumni Ventures, Flying Fish, SignalFire, and Ascend.

Expert Opinion

Rating: 4.5/5

Included AI is a diversity, equity, and inclusion platform that integrates with human resource systems to give companies more insight into their workforce.

There were several things we loved about Included AI. The first of which is its service delivery. The DEI platform uses a variety of data visualization forms to simplify analytics for its users. Its Scorecards, for instance, have tables, graphs showing trends, and more.

Another thing we loved is Included AI and Scorecards specifically, which is an excellent user experience. The user-friendly interface makes it extremely user-friendly. Users can set the metrics they want and adjust the views with ease. Users can set the metrics they want and adjust the views. They can measure their KPIs against different timeframes. However, we would have loved to see more self-service capabilities on Scorecards.

Another key factor to us is its integration capabilities. A tool like Included AI would only be complete if it is versatile with integration. The software integrates with various human resources platforms. This includes information systems, applicant tracking platforms, and learning management systems.

Still, you might need the help of the support team to get it up and running. We believe having documentation for this would prove far better. As its users increase, support may not be an efficient training system.

One more thing that caught our attention is its chatbot. Included AI’s chatbot can dig into your linked systems to answer questions. Anyone with authorized access can ask questions relating to a hiring funnel, the DEI status of the company, and more. While it is easy to book a demo, we would’ve preferred a clearly stated pricing model. Its absence prevents first-time visitors from knowing the relative cost of the software.

Looking at the overall experience, Included AI is a tool worth trying out. Since its value proposition is relatively new, growing its customer base might take some time. It also has lots of indirect competitors, offering similar value. However, with the proper positioning, it can scale.

Included AI Notable Features

Included AI maximizes the power of artificial intelligence to make the most of HR data. Features like Scorecards and Automated reporting allow the platform to analyze data, generate reports, and offer recommendations. Some notable features are:

1. Scorecards

Scorecards are Included’s AI-powered interface for displaying metrics stacked against one another. It has a simplified view that allows users to see how their human resources are fairing. The dashboard shows metrics and what they’re measuring over a period. Viewing these metrics across time is only one of several possibilities. You can choose the timeframe or change the factor.

While viewing across time, Scorecards can show you forecasts. That is, what those metrics may look like in the future. These forecasts are based on an intelligent analysis of your current trend. The trend feature is placed right beside the metrics, and users can quickly understand the performance of their metrics. Moreover, you can tailor Scorecards to departments. Each department can define its metrics and factors, simplifying DEI for the organization.

2. Automated Reports

Included takes away the time department heads spend writing reports, significantly saving time. As you add more data to the software, it updates and generates reports based on your Scorecards. In many top organizations, HR reports are distributed among the heads. This gives them insight into their workforce makeup, the talents that are being underutilized, and those at risk of attrition. Therefore, HR or team heads may spend hours writing this report manually as the occasion arises.

Included takes away the time department heads spend writing reports. As you add more data to the software, it updates and automates the reports for you. The software has an average report generation time of three seconds. Consequently, you can have reports ready on impromptu. The automated reports contain summaries and titles, insights, and recommendations. All of which you can edit before sending.

3. Automated Recommendations

Included AI provides its users with hiring recommendations based on their data. In other words, when you open a hiring funnel, the software monitors how applicants progress. As a result, it can generate accurate commentaries. This is very helpful as it can determine the loopholes in your hiring funnel. As with the Scorecards, you can set your key performance indicators (KPIs). These KPIs will help you identify applicants’ quality, diversity, and time on stage.

On the pipeline dashboard, you can set filters to narrow down the AI-generated content and recommendations. You can also generate recommendations per KPI. At the end of the hiring phase, you can use the Hotspot feature to see the percentage of applicants per stage and their DEI. One more thing that caught our attention is Included AI’s chatbot, powered by advanced generative AI technologies like ChatGPT, which can dig into your linked systems to answer questions.

4. Attrition Risk Indicator

The attrition risk indicator is one of the most valuable features of Included AI. Many times, organizations tend to lose top talent for several reasons. While losing top talent is a big problem, not seeing it coming is an even bigger one. Foresight enables you to take preventive or corrective measures in an inevitable case.

Included’s attrition risk indicator uses your set risk factors to detect attrition. These factors include the last promotion date, salary changes, job level, etc. Once detected, it notifies you when one of your employees is about to leave.

5. DEI Metrics

As a DEI platform, the software emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion. Included AI analyzes data across your company and generates a DEI analysis. Using already set metrics can identify where you need to take corrective measures.

Its DEI reports include trends, summaries, forecasts, and recommendations. Trends give you a quick view of the DEI factor. Recommendations suggest what actions you need to take next. For instance, if Included AI detects that some teams have more women than others, it may suggest restructuring or diversity hiring.

Included AI Integrations

Included AI integrates AI with the HR process to ensure a better workflow. It supports several human resources information systems (HRIS), applicant tracking systems (ATS), and engagement systems. It brings all your human resources data under one umbrella for easy access. Therefore, if you already use an HR platform, you only need to connect them.

  • Workday
  • SAP
  • PeopleSoft
  • Oracle

2. ATS

An applicant tracking system (ATS) is a software HR heads and recruiters use when scouting for talent. This system allows them to track applicants’ progress through the hiring funnel. An ATS can help you source talent, increase applicant engagement, and maximize onboarding. When Included AI integrates with your ATS; it is able to analyze it for DEI information and generate reports. Some ATS Included works with are:

  • JazzHR
  • Breezy
  • Jobvite
  • ICMS

3. Engagement Systems

This term encompasses other systems an organization uses to engage its employees. It includes learning management systems (LMS), objective and key result systems, and communication platforms.
